The joints are smooth but sturdy, so poses stay locked in place for display.

Yes, both are interchangeable. The jersey, shorts, and socks can be carefully removed and changed. The figure includes multiple pairs of interchangeable hands (typically 3-4 pairs) for different poses and gestures. Handle gently as everything is scaled to 1/6 size.
